The pass score is 70% and my score was 76% so i passed the test.

Sun Certified Java Associate

I passed this exam which I am glad because it was not easy. Took me about 5 weeks of studying so i knew every rule that java had to offer. My advice is go over the SCJP 3 times. First to understand what is needed from you and the other 2 times to memorize and understand the rules. Do as many mock exams as you can. The trains your mind to think of all the rules. You need to know that they are going to mislead you in questions. There are loads of free mock exams. The book i used to study for the exam is:
